Binding Data Source for asp DropDownList with Dictionary

While I was trying to bind data source (which is dictionary) I got a way to bind data.

The drop down control in .aspx page

Catch Error Response xml in case of web services exception

While I was working on web services consumption, there was a issue in web services that if I send any wrong request xml, web service server send a web exception "(500) Internal Server Error." But the actual response xml was not catched through it.
For catching this I was using HTTP Debugger Pro. But HTTP Debugger has one drawback that we cannot use it in release version (It is used only for developement server.) :(
Then I try to catch this issue at the programming logic.

Vegeterian vs Non-Vegeterian

Last week we (Tekriti people) did sharing forum on Veg vs Non-Veg. This was really a type of disputing GD. Few people were in favour of Vegeterian and few were with non-veg. I noticed few things at time of GD that we should not go for such type of discussions with out being prepared.
At the time of GD I was in favour of vegeterian and was not having good things to speak out instead of its against emotional feelings & ethics and I dont like to kill any animal for my pleasure only.
As I thought of writing a post and just search for "Reason for being vegeterian" and I found a lot of reasons.
And then I tried for "Reason for being non vegeterian" and result was intresting, found again 21 resons for being vegeterian, 51 good reasons for being vegeterain and more even in first page.

Thats a intresting fact that being a vegeterian has always good reasons.
I am adding few reasons for being a vegeterian from that search:

* Avoiding meat is one of the best and simplest ways to cut down your fat consumption. Modern farm animals are deliberately fattened up to increase profits. Eating fatty meat increases your chances of having a heart attack or developing cancer.

* A sausage can contain ground up intestines. How can anyone be sure that the intestines are empty when they are ground up? Do you really want to eat the content of a pig's intestines?

* If we eat the plants we grow instead of feeding them to animals, the world's food shortage will disappear virtually overnight. Remember that 100 acres of land will produce enough beef for 20 people but enough wheat to feed 240 people.

* It's must easier to become (and stay) slim if you are a vegetarian. (By 'slim', I do not mean 'abnormally slender' or 'underweight' but rather, an absense of excess weight!)

* If you eat meat, you are consuming hormones that were fed to the animals. No one knows what effect those hormones will have on your health. In some parts of the world, as many as one on four hamburgers contain growth hormones that were originally given to cattle.

* The part about the antibiotics is really scary to me, I talked to a doctor once who told me that people can be really sick and hospitalized and not respond to antibiotics they need to save their life because their bodies have built up these crazy tolerances to them from eating meat and dairy.

* Water Conservation. It takes 3 to 15 times as much water to produce animal protein as it does plant protein. As a vegetarian I contribute to water conservation.

Don and Vivah are hit beside of bad Reviews

In Don Shahrukh Khan has done good work but all his work is criticized out because of comparision between original Don n new one.
Amit Ji fans are not accepting him as another DON.
I saw this movie n found good one. Story was little changed.

Vivah.. as name suggest a typical Indian movie. And ofcourse it is. People are saying "Its too ideal, families are ideal, hero is ideal, heroine is ideal. Unable to digest so idealisty".
But inspite of these review it is said Hit.
Got some reviews about the latest few movies, want to add on my Blog:

1. Vivah
Cast: Shahid Kapur, Amrita Rao.
Director: Sooraj Barjatya.

Pros: Sweet story (I say ofcourse it will be, a very sweet pair (Sahid n Amrita's) is in the movie :) ).
Cons: Outdated film.

Number of weeks: New.

2. Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante
Cast: Konkona Sensharma, Irrfan, Rajat Kapoor, Sandhya Mridul and Zakir Hussain
Director: Tanveer Khan.

Pros: Some good thrilling moments.
Cons: Poor sound and background music, poor direction.

Number of weeks: New.

3. Apna Sapna Money Money
Cast: Ritesh Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Celina Jaitley, Koena Mitra, Riya Sen.
Director: Sangeeth Sivan.

Pros: Ritesh Deshmukh.
Cons: Run-of-the-mill sex comedy.

Number of weeks: New.
BO Verdict: Fair opening.

4. Umrao Jaan
Cast: Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Shabani Azmi.
Director: J P Dutta.

Pros: Ash looks stunning (I say yeah she looks stunning), beautiful sets.
Cons: Too long and melodramatic.

Number of weeks: 1.
BO Verdict: Flop.

5. Don
Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Isha Koppiker, Arjun Rampal, Boman Irani.
Director: Farhan Akhtar.

Pros: Great performances, good music.
Cons: Cannot match the original Don (I say dont compare with old Don), starring Amitabh Bachchan (I say Shahrukh Khan has also done a good job).

Number of weeks: 3.
BO Verdict: Semi-hit.

'Ameeran' to 'Umrao Jaan Ada'

Day before I went for Umrao Jaan. The most awaited movie for Ash's fans. Well I am not a big fan of her but still wana watch this.
Even if J.P. Dutta was saying that it is totally different from last Umrao Jaan (Rekha's one) but it was quite similar to that movie.
Last Umrao Jaan was SuperB. That was a combination of good and romantic songs and a nice story itself.
This Umrao Jaan, My God.. No Good songs, same old story and story was running too slow.
It was totally non-sense. The strating of movie was also sense less.
Any way Ash was looking stunning in this movie. The movie was only about Ash n Ash. Thats all.

What the hell this MTNL is..

Since more than 2 year I am using MTNL as mobile connection.
But really fed up with its kind of services.
When try to talk to Customer Care then after a long wait you will be able to get connected and even after that if ask for the problems then no positive feed back. Offf...

When try to send SMS to Airtel STD then it always say "message not send". Offf...

Freinds always complain " if MTNL get connected in a single try then you should feel lucky." Always try 2-3 times or even more to get connected with it. Offf...

A lot of problems n still these people are saying "MTNL hai to sahi hai" (MTNL is best).

Again Coca Cola , pepsi caught with a very high percentage of different pestisides.
Last time when the issue was raised that Coke is having pestisides, this issue was closed with in a month with points that they have solved this issue. But who knows that it is still having a high amount of pestisides.This scene is same as 'CORPORATE' movie.Same situation must be happened at that time and issue was sustained but in this whole things who is the victim --- one and only common people.Problems happened with them only .Why people drink Coke, they should leave it.

Wooh.. Jaipur trip

Last weekend we people went to office jaipur trip, It was really great fun to visit pink city.

It is really pink. Our Guide told us that old Jaipur is pink n it is for only 8 km wide area.
There is some fine for the landlords who are not having pink coloured home in this old jaipur
area.
The sight was amazing. Even at the first sight the thought came on my mind that if we tell
anyone our address n then we also say my home is of this color and main gate is of this
colour, what if home in pink city, everyone has same colored home :)

Jaipur trip was full of spirits. We had great fun there. we visited Amber fort, Tiger fort,
birla temple, Chokhi Dhani. Chokhi Dhani was a very nice place, it is a virtual village
having Rajasthani Culture, here people can meet different scenes of rajasthani culture at
one place.

So finally Italy become the hero of FIFA world cup.
Yet I didn't watch the final match but I was quite excited about the match and was sure that Italy can do it as they did.
It was a great victory for Italians. :)

PHP, Mysql, Apache Performance tunning

Every project has one and more prominient requirement that it must give better performance to its end users and that shows projects/products quality.
I studied few things by my experience that is required for making project quality better. These are following:

Dedicated server: To make use of CPU 100% for that project it must have a fully dedicated sever.
High end server (Hardware must be equivalent to server level) Minimum of 2GB RAM, 3GHz Processor
SCSI Hard Drive (Faster than normal drive) - It is required if same server having database
APACHE CONFIGURATION: (Change httpd.conf - apache configuration file)

- KeepAlive On (whether or not to allow persistent connections)
- KeepAliveTimeout should be very low (this is the no of seconds to wait for next request for the same client) By keeping it very low it will remove connections with the client who has just send one request and next request from the same client will come after a long time so processor will not maintain a connection for a incosistent user. (for dynamic sites it must be low up to 5 second).
- No of processes apache can handle set to MaxClients (How many sub processes can a client generate) - It must be low also.
- StartServers must be low (If MaxClients is more than StartServers must be more). StartServer is the initial number of server processes to start, according to this number server generates processes at the time of booting the system. suppose that this no is 2 then at first server will generate 2 process and then wait for few seconds then again 4 then 8 and so on.
- MinSpareServers must be low. (minimum number of server processes which are kept spare) These are the child processes (which are called more) can be kept ideally so that further it can be called directly.
- MaxSpareServers must be low. (maximum number of server processes which are kept spare).
- MaxRequestPerChild (maximum number of requests a server process serves) - this is by default 0 but it should be set to something else. This number can be choosen by hit and trial method only.
- There is a scaling method to set the values for MaxClients ( RAM / (Average apache process size) ) = MaxClients
- For a site to be run with a very good performance , all apache server performance depends on these few points settings:
StartServers 5
MinSpareServers 5
MaxSpareServers 10
MaxClients 150
MaxRequestsPerChild 0

Dual Apache Server: For Dynamic content one page takes a lot of time to load the whole page because it loads static data as well as dynamic content (images) - So to solve this problem you can use one more apache server on the same machine to process dynalic content seperately so that process of page could be make faster.
PHP Tunning: Php can handle performance only to a level. PHP provide a very good data handling technique, but only few developers are known with it. PHP support - _SERVER["HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING"] gzip,deflate

You have to make few changes in your php.ini file (php configuration file).
set output_handler = ob_gzhandler
This gzip will make HTML code in to a compressed format and this compressed data can be send to end user using less bandwidth.

For making programming better for PHP developers I came to know about few tools and resources. I am decribing here:
1. Framework: Frameworks provide a base for developping applications quickly. They provide intelligence to use most commonly used functions.
two commopnly used frameworks:

2. Compilers: PHP is a compiled language and it compiles code in to byte code and processed by the zend engine. The mod_php module does this job.
There are other compilers available that allow PHP to be compiled into other languages.

There are more efficient ways

Xdebug (www.xdebug.org) - Provides detailed stack trace and file/function information.
APD (Advanced PHP Debugger) - http://pear.php.net/apd/ - It can log porofile information in to a file that can later be analysed.
PhpEclipse also used for debugging.

5. Performance: to optimise applications.

alternative php cache (APC)- http://pear.php.net/apc/ - This is a good tool to analyse sluggish code points.
Database queries should be optimized.
memchached (http://www.danga.com/memcached/) - this is a daemon that caches objects in memory & optimises databbase performance.

6. Database:

To give a refreshing interface to your customer, to manage Mysql on the server use - phpFlashMyAdmin (http://www.tufat.com/s-flash-phpmyadmin.htm)

7. User Interaction (User Interface):
Dojo toolkit (http://dojotoolkit.org) - It provides excellent set of DHTML/AJAX widgets that you can easily integrate in your application.

Back after a long time ...

Since a long time was not getting time to blog.
Last week I celebrated my vacations with my parents and family, roamed around with mom dad and brother as well as met with my maami ji.
It was very exciting to meet them after a long time. Even I was counting from the starting of vacations now 7 days left now 6 now 5 .... to go back.
My God at last 1. :(

Now today is my code freeze of this week so working late. We always try to finish it till evening but always due to any reason we become late.

Reservation in jobs

When I was checking my mail I came across a mail send by my friend in which Someone has put his views about reservation like this !!!!!!!!!

"I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have 10 percent reservation for muslims. 30 percent for OBC, SC/ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs. An OBC player scoring 60 runs should be declared as a century.
We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player. Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal.
Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters.
There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and
politicians (that can really help the country.. )
Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the ministers and other politicians. (Another way of saving the country..)
Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward...
Let's show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country. Let's be proud of being an INDIAN..
May the good breed of politicans like ARJUN SINGH long live..."

Wow.. excitement of shipping our project

Last week was quite hectic and busy for all of my team members. We worked late night and even on weekends. When the whole company was enjoying weekends, we were here to fix bugs rapidly. But it was also a very good experience. Even every night I waited for the day so that I would be in office and make my bugs count less. and finally our alpha version has been shipped. and we people are feeling very good that people are liking our efforts. :)

10 Misconceptions about success

I came across these points about the misconceptions people have about success. I am writing it on my blog to share with all of you.

1) Some people can't be successful because of their background, education etc.
Anybody can be successful. Its matter of wanting to, then doing what it takes to achieve it.

2) Successful people don't make mistakes
Successful people make mistakes just like anyone we all do. They just don't repeat them.

3) You've got to work 60(70, 80, 90) hrs a week to be successful
Its not a matter of doing a lot of something. Its more about doing the right thing.

4) You'll only be successful if you play by the rules
Who makes up the rules anyway? Each situation is different. Sometimes following the rules is needed; other times making up your own rules is what's required.

5) If you have help along the way, its not success
Success rarely occurs in a vacuum. Recognize the people who help you become successful; there are plenty of them.

6) It takes lot of luck to be successful
It takes some luck to be successful, user. It takes a lot more hard work, diligence, knowledge and application.

7) Its only success if you make a lot of money
Money is just one of the many benefits to success but its not guaranteed.

8) Its only success if everybody knows it.
You may get more money accolades (HONOR, PRAISE) the more people know about what you've done. But, even if you were the only one who knew it, you'd still be a success.

9) Success is a GOAL
Success is more what you get when you achieve the goals you've set for yourself. Saying that you want to be success "begs the questions" at what?

10) Once I am successful my troubles are over
You may be successful but you are not god. You'll still have ups and downs that you did before. Enjoy what success you achieve and live each day as it comes.

I think these points are quite sufficient to help the person who are having all these misconception about it.

Indians and cat

Last week one of my friend bought a new Bike. and He is so much concerning about his bike that when we were leaving from office suddenly one cat came in front of our way and he stopped his bike untill any other person has not passed away. this is really an Indian conception. Are other countries also having such types of conceptions.
Even on the same day when I was sitting outside of my office building. I was just noticing that one cat passed from the way and right there a girl was coming to pass from that way she stopped at that moment and was waiting for any other person to pass from the same way so that she can continue... Oh My God.

I saw movie malamaal. I was very much excited for this movie but on hall it went in to abyse as I was depressed by movie story line. it is not of my type. It was ok type for me but one of my friend told me that it was a good movie you must watch those chaos. Yesteray I saw movie "The Chronicles of Narnia" with my friends. It was a fantastic movie. I really love it. We all were celebrating one of our friends new job party.
Movie was fantastic, it was filled with lots of animals and other creaters and they all were made so beautifully that they were seeming real, if those creaters will be real then they would be just like them. It was also having funny dialogues. All animals were able to talk in the way as human does. It was really a nice computer work. The girl Lucy was so darling, she was so courteous.
Overall I liked the movie a lot.

Day Before Yesterday, we went for outing to celebrate our foundation day. We went to Best Western Resort Country Club, it is about 30 km from Gurgaon and 55 km from Delhi Airport. This was a very nice place, we people enjoyed a lot, we played VolleyBall, TT and did horse and camel riding. Camel riding was a daring stuff for me in starting, when Camel was standing up and we (me and Ashima) were just at 60 degree. Oh My god what was the situation. Same as when camel was sitting. Horse riding was also frightening for me in starting as the helper was saying that this horse is new and is upset also. I thought ki "aaj to gayi main "(God! I am Dead today). It was just a coincidence or say anything else my team won each and every game. Anyway It was one of my best days.

Bob Wyman defines structure blogging as: I've been pleased to see that the relaunch of Structured Blogging has been almost universally well received. However, I'm very puzzled by a number of folk who seem to be trying to find some kind of competition between Structured Blogging and "microformats." The reality is that Structured Blogging is a thing you do and is independent of formats. On the other hand, "microformats" is, as it's name implies, simply one of many approachs to defining the under-the-covers formats that are used by people who are doing Structured Blogging. The two concepts are orthogonal. They don't compete. They can't compete. Verbs don't compete with nouns.

According to my point of view, as I am not much familiar with all these issues, I suggest to use both technologies (structure blogging as well as microformats) in the microcontent publishing so that we can use the benefits of both technologies. But before using structured blogging the unique tags (uniquely identified in www) must be there so that mess between them will not occur.

Structure Blogging..
This is the most exciting feature of blogging. Blogging is basically a showcase to share ideas with world wide people. The idea behind structure blogging is that it can be more specific for the end users. As structure blogging contains XML and XHTML. Structure Blogging is the way to improve search result for bloggers and its reviewers.
Structured Blogging plugings embed information in both the HTML blog and the syndicated feed, applications can run in web browsers (like a Firefox plugin for comparison shopping which also reads product reviews); aggregators (such as one that adds your friend's calendar entries to your date book); or web services (like a feed for everyone who is attending the same conference as you).
I came to know about two parts of structure blogging, two websites are providing structure blogging search:
www.technorati.com (Support Lower Case Semantic Web)
www.pubsub.com (Support Upper Case Semantic web)
Now the question is that what is Lower Case Semantic Web and Upper Case Semantic Web?
Lower Case Semantic Web defined some MICROFORMATS and say that all data must have some XHTML classes which must be named in blogging type (like review, blog, event), XHTML can have these classes like: <div class="review">
Upper Case Semantic Web defined some SCHEMAS snd say that all data must be in XML format and must have some already defined tags like: <review> </review>
There are a lot of pros and cons of both formats. Lets see what are these... (I will come to cover this point in my next blog)

Benifits of Structured Blogging:
The plugins not only publishes structured content with microformats-compatible page tags and easily-parsed blocks of XML, but also flows the microcontent through all types of XML feeds (RSS 2.0, Atom and RSS 1.0) and also enables automatic conversion into RDF, and in future, OPML.

So I am describing the ways to use for optimization of your database (MySql):
1. Benchmarking

1. Benchmarking: - It make simple performance comparisons, Determine load limits, Test your application’s ability to deal with change. here are following benchmarking tools that are available:

Mysql Benchmarking suite
Mysql super smack
MyBench
ApacheBench ( It comes installed on almost any Unix/Linux distribution with the Apache web server installed, to use it you have to run following command like: > ab -n 100 -c 10 http://127.0.0.1/finduser1.php where 100 is the total no of connections and 10 the total concurrent requsts send at a time. )
Httperf

Load generators: Contrieved Load Generators (Apache Bench) - For a particular web page, Realistic Load generators (Httperf) - For generating actual traffic.

2. Profiling: This enable you to procure information about - memory consumption, response times, locking, process counts from the engines that execute your SQL scripts and application code. There are a lot of profiling tools are available:

The SHOW FULL PROCESSLIST and SHOW STATUS command ( SHOW FULL PROCESSLIST example: mysql> SHOW FULL PROCESSLIST; run this command and then see the result. SHOW STATUS Command Example:
mysql> SHOW STATUS LIKE 'Qcache%';)
The EXPLAIN command (Run Query with using EXPLAIN Command, it will give you the whole process of a query such as which column is used as index and how many rows are coming as a result and type of query.)
SLOW QUERY and GENERAL QUERY LOG (This you can use by adding some lines in your mysql conf file (my.cnf): log-slow-queries = /var/log/mysql/mysql-slow.log long_query_time = 1 here /var/log/mysql/mysql-slow.log is the path of your log file by default this will create a file at /var/lib/mysql with a suffix of -slow.log and long_query_time is the time which is the longest time a query can take and its lowest value is 1 and DEFAULT value is 10)
MyTop (It summarizes the SHOW FULL PROCESSLIST and various SHOW STATUS statements. Practicallu used it, its a good tool for profiling, but you need to install it from http://www.cpan.org/modules/by-module/Term/ )
The Zend Advanced PHP Debugger extension (APD) - It is very good Profiling tool for profiling PHP as it does function call traces for your pages, memory consumption, execution time etc.

Practically, I have used AB (ApacheBench) for generating load for a single page of the site. It was giving the whole process time for a page when 10 (I gave 10) requests were concurrently processing for the page for total no of 100 connections, Then I checked my slow query log file which were having the list of all queries taking long time than given in mysql configuration file. I used mysqldumpslow (in command prompt go to the log file directory and do :> mysqldumpslow slowlogfilename) for checking this log file, mysqldumpslow will give how many times each query run and its process time. And I got that a lot of queries were repeated for a same row, So I changed my API in the form so that it will fetch the data from same table for same WHERE clause in a single database hit then I process those values further in my API. So I suggest that for a good programmer, he/she must design his/her API in such a way so that lowest data base hit will occur, and only select those column which are necessary at that time as use of SELECT * FROM... is much more costly than SELECT column_name1 FROM ...

I also used indexing for the tables in which SELECT queries were more called more that INSERT, UPDATE or DELETE. (I suggest to use index for a table for only that column which is called many time in WHERE clause of query and also make indexing for a single column when you are using AB so that you will get to know easily for which column index your query processing time is lower.)

I also suggest to INSERT or SELECT data in BUNDLE. (So that less data base hit will occur)

I am describing nine rules for website designing, Hope these will be useful for all web developers.

1: Be Narrow: Most website try to do too many things that it become too difficult to manage and understand, so always try to do smallest things that are potentially useful.
2: Be Different: There are a lot of people who will be thinking same as you are, so always try to do different from others.
3: Be Casual: Flickr enables personal publishing among millions of folks who would never consider themselves personal publishers—they're just sharing pictures with friends and family, a casual activity. Casual games are huge (Now this is not the era of hobbyist web or the professional web) even Skype also provide casual conversation.
4: Be Picky: You must give space to others if something is not going right, false negatives are usually better than false positives. One of Google's biggest strengths—and sources of frustration for outsiders.
5: Be User-Centric: User experience is everything.
6: Be Self Centered: Create something does not exist in this world, be a user o0f your own product.
7: Be Greedy It's always good to have options. One of the best ways to do that is to have income.
8: Be Tiny: Acquisitions are much easier if they're small. And small acquisitions are possible if valuations are kept low from the get go.
9: Be Balanced: You must be balanced in each and every situation as you have to give a lot of commitment to acquire something, but this will not be for always.

Linux Packaging..

There are a lot of problems about linux packaging, like why they dont have a single MSI (this is Microsoft Windows Installer which is having the collection of all the dependencies file in one .msi package) in which all of its dependencies are collected and they just ship them with their installation package. So I want to tell the benefits of linux packaging system.
1. Linux is the world best shared library (dynamic link Library DLL) system: Linux have one of the best shared library system, even you can get more version of same library.
2. linux automatic dependencies system is good: Dependencies are the third party software that are installed to support another software. In Windows when you installed any updation for software then in windows this new DLL overwrite the old DLL, and this creates the registry corrupt. But in linux it save the new DLLs in a new directory under file system (/usr/local/..). And we can switch in between new and old DLLs as needed.
In Linux if the linux is installed properly, then the possibility to get dependencies files will be more. So if any new person is installing linux first time then he/she must choose its full version.

Today I have installed profiling software for my project that will catch the time for all functions running on a page. And a lot more about the classes we are using on that page.
I have also installed Wiki (an open web page), in which any user can change any thing on that page himself. This was quite intresting as I am knowing a lot about Apache installation. It is very necessary for a developer to know not atleast about his/her programming language but also about the enviornment in which his/her is working.

This week when judges choose Qazi safe (this is first time when qazi is safe through judges), he is now going to make fun of his friends, he started commenting on others as for Arpita he commented "Sabse pahle to danger jone ki hetrick ke liye congratulation." and this attitude is really a sign of proudness. And I think this can be injurious for him. He should not behave like this, even when he was in danger jone and all others were in safe then no one commented out on his performance, now because of public votes he is here in this position and thats why he become like this.
He feel that no one can come in with public votes other than him. Why public gives his votes, what all see, what all doing, I don't know really.

My visit to Delhi..

Day Before yesterday, I went for delhi visit. I was really so excited for it. I went with my family and my friend. We all were very excited for it. This was really a very fantastic trip for me as I didn't these places before.
First I saw Lal Killa, this is really a marvellous place and I like most the work done on the walls of the mahal, it was really a difficult task to fill those rigid walls with the different coluredstone pieces. Here is the View of Lal killa.

And then after visiting this place we saw Raj Ghat (the samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi). Its a very peaceful place.
Then we visited India Gate, this was the great moment for me to see and touch the Grand monument that has been built in the memory of our great warriors of First World War.
Then we visited Indira Gandhi Museum, where we saw the pictures and the things that she was using from her childhood, I saw the glimpse of her living style. She was a great lady, she believed in simple living and high thinking.
Then we saw lotus temple(the place where the people of all religions can pray to God), Birla Temple( also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple and it is one of the oldest temple in India), Kutubminaar, ... and we also travelled through metro train.
It was really a memorable day for me..

Review for Paheli..

Yesterday, I saw this Hindi Movie named Paheli, before seeing this movie I was so excited to watch this movie, even I was waiting for the weekend to watch this movie, and this was all because the promos that they were showing before releasing this movie.
But after watching it I was quite disappointed as it was far below from my expectations. The story of the movie is just a ghost was being fallen in love with a newly married girl. It was totally unrealistic movie just like the story of Vikram and Betaal, that we have seen on our childhood. So I think its really very disappointing for Indian Cinema. These are the reasons people criticize bollywood than hollywood. Lets see the strategy of Indian Cinema in the next coming movies...

A Great News..

I am really very excited to tell u about this great news. Last week , I got the news that HBTI Kanpur (the college from where I did my B.Tech.) got 21st rank in India in all IT colleges.
IIT kanpur in on the top of the list, then other IITs, NIT Trichi, Allahabad Thapar Institute and DU. In that list DU got 57.1 points and HBTI got 57, HBTI is just below 2 DU in this list.
one another good news that IIT Kanpur got 26 points in Intallectual capabilities n HBTI got 29 points in that category.
This list is published in DATA QUEST(May issue). So Its a great news for the hercourtians, I wish the glory of our college will be maintained for the next coming years..

Now self replicating robots is not just a science fiction... the time has been changed a lot.. Now self reaplicating robots has been created by the scientist of Cornell University (in Ithaca, New York). They have created small robots that can build copies of themselves.
And according to their information "Each robot consists of several 10-cm (4 inch) cubes which have identical machinery, electromagnets to attach and detach to each other and a computer program for replication (like a virus replication program). The robots can bend and pick up and stack the cubes. "
So it is a great development in our life as these robots will be more useful in the hazardous situation..where human involvement is quite risky..like in space flights. Now lets see whats more surprising development is coming..

Today was my presentation, and I was excited a lot for it and a bit nervous too. then I read once my presentation notes and I tried my self to involve in any other work as it was creating more n more problem for me to read my topic again n again(as I tried to read it again but it was creating more nervousness.).
Now its time for My presentation...
I was trying to be cool..
and I started my presentation with a bit nervousness. and it was nice but not as a I supposed it should be (I forget once.. n it was very disappointing for me.). well before my presentation I was thinking that it would a boaring presentation but as it was going, it was becoming more intresting. "Ramlal Bhagat, a XII std. student from Haryana, has developed a 32-bit operating system demonstrated to be far superior to any of the desktop operating systems in the market today. The program has been named "O-Yes". O-Yes provides operating system services on any Pentium-based personal computer (PC) and does not require MS-DOS as a base operating system. The operating system's capabilities were demonstrated in a student convention at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), New Delhi.
HCL Ltd. conducted benchmarks on the system and published results, which are partly reported here: O-Yes is 34% faster than Microsoft's Windows 95 on similar hardware. It is 29% faster than
IBM's OS/2. O-Yes loads 54% quicker than Windows 95 or OS/2. O-Yes has a customizable, user-friendly graphical User Interface (GUI), in which every program can be accessed with a maximum of two button clicks. The operating system provides plug n play capability with numerous hardware devices. It has a superior memory management function. The operating system is compatible with Windows 95&WindowsNT 4.0. HCL, Ltd. has offered an unknown amount to Ramlal Bhagat for purchasing the rights to the software. Ramlal Bhagat, described as "quiet and philosophical" by his peers, was not available for comment. Great Mr N R Narayana murthy

Yesterday I read bibliography of Mr Narayanan Murthy, it was really intresting to read bibliography of a great person. In his bibliography I read about the problems that he tackled in the starting of INFOSYS.
He started it in 1981 with other 5 partners. Initially it took them a year to obtain a telephone connection, two years to get a license to import a computer and 15 days to get foreign currency for travelling abroad. One thing struck on my mind that at that time it was really very tough to open a software company in India, but they didn't loose their PASSION and Now you all know where the INFOSYS is.. so PASSION IS THE MORE IMPORTANT THING THAN FINANCE FOR A COMPANY.
